Thank you for visiting my personal website.

My name is Jamie Lee-Morgan and I am a London based actor from South Wales.

A little about me and what I do..

I trained as an actor at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts for three years before joining the National Theatre Production of ‘War Horse’ in the West End.  Since then I have worked on an array of genre from plays to musicals, new writing to short films and even begun producing my own work. I am represented by The Narrow Road Company.

Much of my work is comedy and character driven and this is really where my true passion lies.  Some of my comedy work includes ‘Madagascar The Musical’, ‘One Man, Two Guvnors’, ‘Spamalot’ and ‘Can’t Stop It’ (The Other Palace).  I have just finished producing and writing a sketch show in collaboration with Pixelform Studios which is currently in its final editing stage. I am currently playing ‘Ross Geller’ in the Parody Musical ‘Friendsical’ which is touring the UK including dates at the Edinburgh Festival.

Puppetry/Physical Theatre/Movement/Mocap

Having worked on War Horse and subsequently other puppetry productions I am a keen puppeteer.  Movement and physical theatre related work is now a big part of what I do.  I regularly take workshops and have trained with some of the leading physical theatre companies and practitioners in the world. I am a member of Sarah Perry’s 'Shapes in Motion’ Mocap Troupe who regularly train together in a broad selection of physical skills which can be utilised not only within motion capture work but also acting for stage and screen.

I have a warm, deep, friendly, rich and engaging voice which I am applying to the world of voiceover. I have a home studio setup where I am able to submit and produce professional voiceover work and samples. More details of contacting me for voice work can be found on my voiceover page along with audio samples.

The Pauline Quirke Academy

I am the 'Comedy and Drama' tutor at PQA Rochester.

"These sessions are devoted to expanding our students' knowledge of different theatrical forms and techniques. This includes everything from improvisation and devised theatre to mime, mask, script work and vocal techniques – including projection and diction.

Theatre games help with confidence-building, self-esteem, teamwork and communication skills where the use of imagination and the tools of storytelling are emphasised.

Students are encouraged to explore different staging options, including 'in-the-round,' 'promenade' and even site-specific work – all designed to give them the broadest acting tuition possible."

"Jamie recently taught a group of my students..the class was wonderful. I was blown away by Jamie's preparation and creativity and he had a natural communication with the children. I would highly recommend Jamie to others."

- Robson Theatre Arts

"Jamie coached me for a commercial audition for 'Smart Insurance'. He made me feel at ease, he had plenty of patience and he ran the material as many times as I needed. He made me feel very confident going into my casting. It resulted in me booking the commercial and I definitely couldn't have done it without his help and guidance."
